3. I can't seem to get the videos to work at all. Are there setting changes I can make to my Quicktime player?

Here are a few setting changes that may improve your video viewing:

a. For Player settings:
Click Edit in the player tool bar then Preferences then General Preferences. This will allow you to make basic sound and picture changes.

b. For more advanced settings:
Click Edit in the player tool bar then Preferences then Quicktime Preferences. Then make the following changes to each setting choice in the drop down menu:

Under Connection Speed, choose the correct connection speed for your system.

Under File Type Associations: Check any of the boxes that apply to the video you are trying to view and the "Notify me if other applications modify these viewer associations" box.

Under Streaming Proxy: Check the "Use System settings" box

Under Streaming Transport: This setting is connected to a Firewall program you may have on your system. Firewalls sometimes prevent users from viewing the videos on our site. Please access the information regarding adjustments to this setting through the link below to improve your viewing:

For more information on how to make adjustments to your Firewall, please access the Quicktime support document at:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60688

Under Video Settings, check off all of the boxes under Options.

After making any of the above changes, restart the Quicktime player before trying to view a video again.
