TREY PARKER
Writer, Director, Star

Trey Parker, best known as one of the creators of "South Park," was born and raised in Colorado, where he attended the University of Colorado at Boulder to study film. At college, he won a Student Academy Award for his animated short, "American History". In 1992, Parker partnered with Matt Stone and Jason McHugh to form Avenging Conscience Productions. Parker wrote, starred in and directed the company's first feature film, CANNIBAL: THE MUSICAL, released by Troma Films.

While working on a pilot for Fox Television, Parker was commissioned to produce an animated Christmas short for Foxlab President, Brian Graden. "The Spirit of Christmas" quickly became a huge underground hit. In a matter of months, the video reached thousands of people, including television executives, who began a bidding war over the animated series "South Park". Debuting on Comedy Central, "South Park" won rave reviews and quickly became a certifiable hit.
